MolenFest concluded five days of theatre, music, dance, and circus with a truly collective moment: the Sadaka (what is Sadaka?) Banquet on 7 September. On the Chaussée de Gand, thousands of residents and visitors from Molenbeek, Brussels, and beyond gathered around one long table.
In a spirit of solidarity, connection, and cultural generosity, we not only celebrated the closing of the festival, but also our shared ambition to imagine new ways of living and creating together. This was more than a meal: it was an invitation to co-shape a future where culture unites us, here in Molenbeek, in Brussels, and across Europe.
