MolenFest is back: Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 September 2025!

Dance, circus, music, theatre, debate, film and festivities: from 3 to 7 September, Molenbeek’s streets and squares will breathe MolenFest once more! From La Grande Halle via the Vaartkapoen to Lion City, from Serge Aimé Coulibaly over Sound of Brussels Orchestra to Laure Prouvost and Singing Molenbeek: for five memorable days, we will celebrate with this festival our neighbourhood’s solidarity (Sadaka!), sweeping aside all prejudices and clichés.

This second edition marks the jubilant end of the partners’ hard work and preparations for Molenbeek for Brussels 2030. We will know at the end of September whether Molenbeek will become the cultural capital of Europe in 2030. In the meantime and once again, we’ll showcase our city’s big heart and unmistakable potential to Belgium and Europe.

MolenFest is a collaboration between Molenbeek for Brussels 2030, the House of Cultures and Social Cohesion and Kanal, together with dozens of other partners from Molenbeek and Brussels.
