Molenbeek 2030 is looking for an intern in Communication

Molenbeek for Brussels 2030 is in charge of preparing the Molenbeek candidacy to become the European Capital of Culture in 2030. To support us in this exciting challenge, the communication team is looking for a motivated intern, available between July and the end of September 2025, to join us on this inspiring project!

On the agenda: Content creation, event support, digital communication, and much more!

Profile 

General 

  • You have an excellent knowledge of French and Dutch and a good knowledge of English 
  • You know Molenbeek and Brussels well 
  • You are interested in art and culture 
  • You are autonomous and also like to work within a team 
  • You have an eye for detail and precision 
  • You are punctual and meet deadlines 
  • You are enthusiastic, motivated, creative, inventive, etc. 

Communication 

  • You have experience in Communication
  • You love to communicate 
  • You have good writing and editing skills and are allergic to spelling mistakes 
  • You have a good knowledge of the Internet and social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok) 
  • You have a good knowledge of the Microsoft environment and Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

Tasks 

  • You communicate the activities and news of Molenbeek for Brussels 2030
  • You write publications for social networks, the website (WordPress), and newsletters (MailChimp) 
  • You publish content on our different platforms 
  • You contribute to the development and improvement of communication strategies: audience, content, platforms, etc. 
  • You will assist in coordinating events and contribute to the logistical organization of local events (such as MolenFest or the weekly Molenbeek market).
  • You contribute to other tasks and help the team 

Offer 

  • A varied internship of 1 to 3 months between July and the end of September (start date to be agreed upon): longer durations are preferred, part-time is possible.

Practical information

  • Our offices are located at 63 Avenue d’Auderghem, 1040 Etterbeek (near Schuman and Place Jourdan).
  • Frequent travel to Molenbeek is expected.
