Mariage

Mariage is a unique celebration of connection through dance and the creation of new traditions.

During open workshops in public spaces, you can take part in dance, music, costume design, henna, and decoration. With the guidance of artists, volunteers, and participants, we co-create a universal wedding celebration.

Mariage unites participants, the audience, and the community: a symbolic wedding that celebrates connection, diversity, and unity.

Leon is a nomadic workspace in Brussels that puts dance center stage. It focuses on the processes that precede the productions, because these provide the kernel of creative participation and powerful connection. At Leon, intergenerationality and inclusion are considered essential conditions to showcase dance in its most human and authentic form.
