March 21, 2026: Sadaka Tea – Gathering at Place de la Bourse at 5:30 PM

Saturday 21 March 2026 · 5:30 PM · Bourse Square

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, we will gather at Place de la Bourse for Sadaka Tea. This moment aims to continue the cultural and participatory momentum generated by the Molenbeek for Brussels 2030 candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2030, and to highlight the importance of a strong cultural project for the future of the city.

“Sadaka Tea shows that the collective energy born from the Molenbeek for Brussels 2030 candidacy must continue to grow. Brussels needs an ambitious and shared cultural project for the future,” explain Fatima Zibouh and Jan Goossens, co-leads of MB2030.

A symbolic moment for Brussels

March 21 marks the first day of spring, a symbol of renewal. On the eve of the commemoration of the ten-year anniversary of the March 22 attacks, we want to collectively affirm that Brussels stands strong: united, resilient, and rich in cultural, linguistic, and social diversity.

After more than 600 days of political crisis in Brussels, our city needs a shared vision for the future more than ever.

We firmly believe that residents, artists, associations, and cultural initiatives play a key role in bringing Brussels back into motion.
